Hello everyone. Welcome to our August 2010 newsletter. We are very sad to be losing our senior therapist and oldest daughter Jayell this month. Her husband Brent has secured himself a very good job in Taihape so they are shifting there at the end of this month. However Jayell will be coming back every 8 weeks to do a Friday & Monday clinic for Micropigmentation (Permanent Makeup).Yay us girls can still have our eyeliner & eyebrows done, & of course our lips!! *Wear layers of clothes rather than heavy pieces to avoid feeling weighed down. *Make the most of the season: wrap up and go for a brisk invigorating walk. Keep moving. Don’t forget to keep your head covered when it’s really cold. You can lose anywhere from 30 to 50 percent of body heat. *Learn something new. Start a hobby. Developing an interest in something new will make you feel good during those long winter months. *Wear bright colors, even if everyone is wearing dark earthy tones. Color will give you a real lift. You might be surprised at how many of your friends and family will admire you for bringing color into your life and wardrobe. *Bring color into where you live. Paint a room with bright cheerful colors. Bring flowers into your home, fresh when possible, dried or even artificial ones when it’s not. Surround yourself with beauty. *If the sun is not shinning where you are, visualize in your mind a beautiful sunny scene. Again, just the basic outline, feeling, or even thought is enough. Feel the warmth of a sunny day and breathe deeply those good feelings all through your body until you feel full.(If its rainy pop in for a detox box session which gives your seratonin a pep up.) *Feed yourself a diet of positive news (avoid watching or reading horror, disasters, violence, crime, etc). *Invite and allow love into your life. Pricing Changes As you all will be aware from 1 July 2010 the Emissions Trading Scheme was established & has an impact on energy costs in NZ. This affects all fuel & energy costs. Also, in the 2010 Budget, the Government confirmed that GST will increase to 15% from 12.5% (a 20% increase in GST). Unfortunately this will mean that we will also have to change our prices as of 1 October 2010. |
Double Stamp Month Nimue double stamp month was technically supposed to be last month. We appologize but we missed the bus on letting everyone know this. A few of you got letters from Nimue directly and asked us for them which we gave you. If you purchased Nimue products last month and are NOT getting any Nimue this month we are happy to update your loyalty card. If you need Nimue this month and didnt get double stamps for any product last month we will give you Double Stamps for the Nimue THIS month. Whew!!! Hope you all understand this. Our computer system keeps a track of all of your purchases as you go anyway. If you've got any questions just ask! PS This may be a good month to stock up on our products before prices change!!! |
$20 Short notice Cancellation Fee Please remember that we need 24 hours notice if at all possible, so that we can offer those appointments to others who are wanting them and also so that we don't needlessly waste product that has been set up for your treatment and has to be thrown away. To ensure the best possible service for everybody, our policy is that if we are not given 24 hours notice of cancellation, there will be a charge of $20. If the treatment was prepaid or a gift voucher, this will be forfeited, unless of course there is a very good reason for the late cancellation. We regret that we have to have a policy like this but we hope you understand that late cancellations do cost us and are unfair to the rest of our clients. Thank you for supporting us with this. |

Both Mellanie and Myself (Carl) had the priviledge of going to Aucklands Laser LifeCARE Institute and spending a day in advanced Elos treatment training with the Innovative Medical Technologies team from Australia. We really enjoyed meeting the other operators using Elos Technology |
